The first master’s prize awarded by the association goes to Johanna Kucknat. Out of many good and very good applications, the jury awarded the master students award to Johanna Kucknat, who submitted her master thesis entitled “The Role of the European Green Deal for the Decarbonization of the Chemical Sector” in April 2022 to the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. The jury consisted of the board of directors of the association, expanded to include Dr. Volker Wittwer and Georg Bopp, who awarded the prize to Johanna Kucknat on July 12, 2022 during the Fraunhofer ISE summer party. Congratulations again to Johanna Kucknat.

The association awards the master students award twice a year. The prize is awarded to master students who have made a special contribution with their master thesis to making the vision of the association a reality. It is endowed with €500. The new call for applications of master students who completed their master degree after April 30, 2022 is already open. The application form can be downloaded here.
